Thanks for your comment and interests to my article.
I agree with you. I joined a letter curving workshop last year, I found I was always nervous when I cut the stone polished myself. No mistake allowed.
While I can repeat try and error with a font making software. I thought i had to improve my skills to draw a proper line, even if I could try and error with a font app.

That is jus beautiful. I’ve once saw a puchcutter Dan Carr at work in ATypI conference in Leipzig, and was just overwhelmed with the amount of time it takes to make cold metal glyphs. We tend to forget that with our digital tools today.
